First Rule, Local Only
Our local directories are truly local and complete. We list all local businesses for free. If a customer is looking for a North Hollywood business or professional, they are going to find all of them here and only them. Our directories are strictly local... no Encino businesses or listings from Fresno. This is what you often see in other ‘local’ directories, paid listings from all over the state and even the country. This does not help customers find what they need near them.

Advertising is moving more and more online. Print ads are becoming dinosaurs...ineffective and expensive while using up natural resources. Internet marketing works. Our expertise addresses this with effective website design, search engine optimization (SEO) and internet marketing techniques. We work with small businesses every day to connect with customers online, offering workshops, ebooks and personal consulting to target their customers with a budget that is surprisingly low.
Local Searches, Local Resources
We saw a need for more local resources online, since over 60% of all searches include locales, and the big guys were not providing it well. Our directories have become a local online hub where residents, government agencies and non-profits can post events, coupons, classifieds and other useful notices for free. Our traffic keeps increasing which means more traffic to local businesses. This aligns with our underlying motive to conserve and preserve the environment.
Civic Responsibility Also a Part of the Equation
We can make a difference right here. One of the most effective ways to make a difference in this very complex world is to act locally. On a local level, individuals actually can have a strong voice, can get heard and can affect change more quickly.
People want to contribute to the community and are only waiting to be asked. We have a notion that we might be able to fix our own schools, provide for our own security, clean up our own piece of the planet and aid those less fortunate right here, right now. This is a call to civic participation and responsibility. We can each make a difference, one person, one neighborhood, in one city at a time.
Going Local is Going Green
Going local is good for both business, the community and the planet. The most obvious way is that shopping locally saves on gas and increases local business income and reduces our carbon dioxide footprint.
Our Mission
We see our mission as helping small businesses become more visible online through local advertising and marketing. We can do this by:
- Providing a free venue for posting information about local business, events, fundraisers, jobs, real estate, networking and discounts.
- Opening lines of communication to and from business, residents, government and non-profits to enable groups and individuals to connect.
- Participating and hopefully engaging individuals with ways they can participate to accomplish community goals and solve local issues, right here, right now.
